Compound Exercises

These are tough movements that target major muscle parts of our body. compound exercises form the core of any good bodybuilding workout. The reason for their importance is that they help you to gain muscle fast and quick. These are movements which helps you to bulk up. The best compound movements are squats and dead lift. These two exercises target almost 80 % of our muscle group and thus these are very effective to increase your testosterone and more the testosterone , the more you gain muscle. But these movement have some drawbacks.

  • They take a real toll on your body and you need to follow a good diet for your recovery
  • They need good form, if you do squat and deadlift in improper form then you may land in a hospital bed
  • These must not be performed by trainers below the age of 17
  • A guidance is required when you are just starting out doing squat or deadlift
  • These compound movement must not be practiced regularly these may led to over-training
